Rev. Tom Zollman serves Peace as an Intentional Interim Minister during the transition to a new pastoral leadership.  This is his third round of service to Peace in an interim capacity.

Pastor Tom was encouraged by many to enter the ministry.  He studied at St. Paul Junior College in Concordia, Missouri then the Senior College in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  His seminary training received at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.

He met his wife, presently a nursing instructor at Community College, while she was in nurse's training in St. Louis.  Following Pastor Tom’s first year of ministry at Zion Lutheran Church in Comstock Park they were married.  Blessed with four children, three are grown and scattered in the northeast, eastern Michigan, and near home.  One daughter was lost to an accident at age two.

Rev. Zollman served Zion Lutheran in Comstock Park for over 25 years and since then has been called by the North/West Lower Michigan Synod to serve as an Intentional Interim Minister the last 16 years.

In Pastor Zollman’s own words:  “As I reflect upon the future for the ministry of Peace, it is nothing but good.  And that is true when I write about my own journey, the many parishes in which I have been involved and in my present setting here at Peace.  It is true because I can look back in life, at life today, and into the future and realize that God is good and that He is faithful to his people.  He will never change and His gracious rule of good in our Savior belongs to us – ours to shape our vision and ministry for good and for His glory."
