As I was driving home today, I caught the tailend of an interview with the author of an article in National Geographic about brain development in teenagers (I know, many would say that's an oxymoron).  

 Both the interview and the article follow some research into brain development that is challenging some common ideas about when our brain stops development and how we respond as we develop.

I think the article should be required reading for anyone with a teen at home.  It is very good.
