
Eric grew up in
Camp Michi-Lu-Ca has been a huge part of Eric’s life since he
was 8 years old. He recounts, “Ever
since that first week of camp, I believe I received a calling to continue work
for the
Eric served as camp counselor and lifeguard at Michi-Lu-Ca for three summers and Program Director for one.
If camp is a large part of Eric’s life, so is music.
Playing guitar since age 12, he has included banjo, piano, mandolin and
harmonica in his music. Eric is an
active member of band “Drake” and has played all over the
Eric’s family is as diverse as he: Dad is an electrician by trade and a musician by heart, Mom is a college counselor but photographer by heart, sister is a great singer, and fiancé Tammy is finishing her nursing degree but also engaged in music.
Eric describes his role as Youth Director in this way: “My mission is to provide a safe and fun environment in which youth can grow and live their faith journey through Jesus Christ while promoting leadership skills, community service, and self respect. Youth ministry is not only for young people; it is for the entire community.”
